Are you the same gentleman that posted a you tube video of the Mayberry Village with train sets? Summer village - Mt. Pilot - Winter village?
The world lost a wonderful person this week when Betty Lynn passed away at the age of 95. Click on

We are quickly approaching the months when car shows, parades, and community festivals are on my calendar. Hopefully, 2021 will return us to some normalcy, and we will once again be able to enjoy all the activities that we love. Check out my website calendar to see the events that I am planning on attending if it is safe to do so.

Hey Ken,
I hope you and yours are well and safe during this crazy time in our country. As you may recall I own a 1961 squad car replica. I saw on one of your posts that you had installed some sort of fan system in your squad car that keeps you cooler. Can you give me more details about that? Where did you find it?
I tried to get an AC put on my car a couple of years ago, but my mechanic could not get it installed, so I have been looking for something to combat the heat here in West Tennessee.
All of our parades were canceled this spring, however there was a small held this morning. But it is so hot and humid here, we decided not to attend. I try to drive my squad car at least once a week all year round. It still has the original engine in it, and it just starts and runs much better when I do that.
So any help you can provide on your fanning system would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Happy July 4th!
Rex
Miss the car shows and parades but I understand why they are not having them.
I saw you at a parade last summer and really enjoy your car and watching you walk the parade route. It looked like you were having fun.

Welcome to my website. My name is Ken Anderson and I live in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I created this website because I have a passion for the classic television show "The Andy Griffith Show". I am the author of the book Mayberry Reflections the Early Years. I spend much of my time traveling to Classic Car Shows and parades. I also spend time speaking to groups through the use of a 45 minute power point presentation that I have developed. I own a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Replica Mayberry Squad Car and I dress in an almost exact replica Deputy Barney Fife uniform. I am a retired teacher of 35 years.
Loved your site. I hope to see you back in parades and at car shows this summer.
